Ionised Alkaline and Acid Water

Two thirds of the earth is covered with water, but healthy drinking water is still one of our main problems. Are we going to buy water at a pharmacy in the future? The biological zero of water is 4oC (39.20F); the temperature at which water is it's most dense. This makes water almost a unique substance. Other liquids decrease in volume when the temperature is lowered, water decreases in volume only to the temperature of 40C (39.20F) and then expands again. This is why icebergs float, water pipes burst and rocks with cracks fall apart after frost. "Pure" H20 water is not healthy water. That doesn't sound right - I know. The word 'pure' by itself means nothing. Pure water is H2O and nothing else. Pure water is distilled water and can be used to top up car batteries etc., but it is not for drinking - it does not make us healthy. It replaces H2O only but not the energy and minerals we need to rebuild our body on a daily basis. Not even fish can live in pure H20 (distilled) water.
Most pure mountain or spring water is healthy water as long as it comes from a healthy environment without pollution.
Water is a carrier only. Water is not food. Water is a carrier only. Ionised alkaline water is a carrier of acid waste products. Is it necessary to mention what a soft drink with a pH value of 2.5 does to your health?
Cooking with alkaline water
Considering the benefits of alkaline water, the question arises: Should we use alkaline water for cooking and making tea and coffee? Making tea and coffee with alkaline water cancels some of the undesirable side effects. The pH in the water decreases when heating the water, since the carbon dioxide in the air neutralises it. However, the water is still beneficial since no acid only alkaline minerals are in the water. Another advantage is that the calcium in the alkaline water neutralises the phosphorus in food like in potatoes (0.053%) and rice (0.221%) while boiling. Since the boiling water is discarded, it minimises the phosphoric acid build up in the body.
Which water should I use to make ionized water?
Distilled water has no minerals at all and is not suitable for the production of acid and alkaline water. The same is the case with R.O water. Tank water from a plastic tank could be a problem, since there are not many minerals (only from air pollution and bird droppings) in the water. However, tank water from a concrete tank can be found to have many minerals, where calcium is due to the lime leached out. Some water could need several hours to separate to the highest possible reading.
A water ioniser is an "intelligent water filter", which separates the unwanted acid components from the beneficial alkaline components. However, some waters are not suitable for ionisation without filtering due to high levels of salts or similar. This is the case with many bore waters.
Measuring the pH during the ionisation process is the only way to find out how much time a certain water needs to be fully activated.
Please note that electronic pH meters should not be used in water under current. You have to switch the unit off for a while before testing the pH level.
Ionising Water - Trouble shooting
The pH reading of the water does not change on both sides.
· There is no current on the electrodes. Check the power supply.
· The temperature is too low. Ionisation is difficult at very low temperatures and increases with temperature. Place the alkaliser in a warmer room.
· The water in the alkaliser has not enough conductivity. Distilled water and similar have no conductivity. Use water with higher conductivity. If tank water (rain water) is used, you may add lemon juice for better conductivity and for health benefits at the same time.
The water on the alkaline side does not go to the required pH level.
· The water might not have enough alkaline minerals to get the required level.
· Lower the volume of the alkaline side of the container by moving the membrane towards the electrically negative electrode. When you drain the water, make sure that you drain the smaller tank slower than the larger tank.
The water on the acid side does not go to the required pH level.
· The water might not have enough acid minerals to get to the required level.
· Lower the volume of the acid side of the container by moving the membrane towards the electrically positive electrode. When you drain the water, make sure that you drain the smaller tank slower than the larger tank.
The electronic pH meter gives wrong readings.
Using an electronic pH meter can cause some problems.
· Switch off the power supply to the Alkaliser and let the water "settle" for a few minutes.
· Radio receivers or other electronic devices can interfere with the pH meter. Place the at such a distance, that they do not interfere with the pH meter.
· If both sides have a very high reading of say pH 12, switch the power off and wait for a few minutes.
· Check and adjust your pH meter regularly.
Oxygen is the source of life and the key to health. All the cells in our body need oxygen to live regardless of where they are located. An insufficient oxygen supply weakens the cells and without oxygen they die in a very short time. Totally deprived brain cells, for example, will die in just 15 seconds. An inefficient oxygen supply to cells is linked to one of the most feared diseases of our time, cancer. Cancer cells grow in an environment with little oxygen, where normal healthy cells can't develop any more. Cancer cells hate oxygen. Yeast infections (candida albicans) develop in a low oxygen environment and spread like an epidemic. The result of low oxygen levels is not only harmful yeast's but also unfriendly bacteria. We have two groups of bacteria, the aerobic and the anaerobic bacteria. Aerobic bacteria are the friendly bacteria and are needed for the intestinal bacteria's flora to digest properly. This is a key factor in preventing and curing illness. Oxygen kills harmful anaerobic bacteria and stimulates the growth of beneficial, friendly bacteria.
The water we drink is, in many cases, poor in oxygen since we add chlorine, fluorine and many other chemicals to the water. Not only do these chemicals kill the friendly bacteria we need so much to stay healthy, but the additives we put into the water drive the oxygen out of it and make it an unhealthy drink.
Oxygen has an alkalising effect on the blood since it decreases the carbon dioxide, which makes the blood acid. Drinking alkaline water increases the oxygen level in the blood.
A water alkaliser is the best technical device to produce oxygen rich alkaline water.
The water alkaliser causes the water in the tank to be divided by a semi-permeable membrane. The hydrogen ions form on one side, and the oxygen ions form on the other. The membrane acts like a gate, slowing down the migration of ions. Left long enough without the polarising voltage, the ion divided tank will eventually neutralise by ions recombining through the membrane with their partners.
There is a lot of misunderstanding with regard to calcium. Calcium is linked to diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, heart diseases and arteriosclerosis. On the other hand, calcium is supposed to help against exactly these diseases. Ionised calcium as it is in ionised alkaline water, helps to dissolve the calcium, which binds acids like cholesterol, collagen, fibrin, heavy metals and debris. This makes it possible, for the build up to be slowly reduced and the wastes flushed out with the urine. Calcium plays a major role in humans, animals and plants.
